Art quote from http://www.artquotes.net/
I'll post a photo when it arrives :)
There's FREE postage in the UK from Zazzle until the 11th November, so I think I'll do some gift designing...
I am as usual finding it hard to keep up with almost anything, so my apologies for the silence.
I recently added a form to the site to make submitting work for a Muse News feature easier and have already received a wonderful submission. It's hopefully going to give me another way to discover awesome artists - Twitter is my main resource for that, but I don't manage to spend as much time there these days. It's frustrating.
So if you're reading this and you're and artist AND you'd like to be featured - just click the link and fill in the simple form.
I may have made an error of judgement but I've set myself another time dependent challenge... The month before my gallbladder surgery I managed to post 30 images in 30 days, so I'm hoping that posting a photograph a week for 52 weeks is something I can maintain. Go to the Photo Blog to see how I'm doing...
I'm slowly trying to update and tweak this site, as well as my Fibro Bites website.
Although I realise that I need to simplify, focus and organise my time better.
My mind is bursting with ideas that I don't have the time or energy to get to, it's frustrating, but it's my life now.
I'm also, (very very slowly) working on another site that I hope will combine my art and creativity knowledge along with my teaching experience and skills. Watch this space...
...and of course at some point I'll get another newsletter done! I hope - sorry subscribers.
I also recently sent two pieces of digital art, printed on heavyweight pearl paper, to this travelling exhibition in Japan.
The schedule of the exhibition is like this :
Here it is - my postcard sized artwork for the twitter exhibition in Moss Norway.
Caran D'Ache water soluble pencils, iridescent water colour paints and 3D paint.
I've also done a digital painting version of this on the iPad which should look good as prints and cards. When I get around to uploading it to Zazzle...
The exhibition is now open and the cards are selling well. Click here for the latest update from David Sandum. His twitter stream is probably the best way to keep up to date with events.
It's almost the deadline for posting art contributions to Moss, Norway, for the second international Twitter Art Exhibition.
I fianlly got my piece finished today, just need to scan it and complete the necessary admin info on the reverse.
When it's scanned, I'll post an image here.
For further information about the exhibit, which will raise money for the Battered Women and Children's centre in Moss, click here.
During September Central Station are celebrating Liverpool's creative scene. As well as shining the spotlight on events and opportunities happening in the city they'll also be welcoming a host of new faces to the site.
They spotlight various cities, so far Bristol and Manchester and this month it's Liverpool's turn. No doubt to coincide with the fabulousness that is The Liverpool Biennial.
They chose their top 5 Liverpool members and my piece called 'Blink' is there in the number one spot!
(Blog piece is here. I did take a screen shot, but of course I cant find it right now. Will update later.)
